Why [even if I could] I Wouldn't Recommend Metformin
Metformin is very commonly used as a standard prescription in PCOS, it’s also fairly well known that it can come with some *inconvenient* symptoms like loose bowel movements, nausea and fatigue. A seemingly small price to pay when you’re desperate to lose weight and control your hangries. What I want you to know is that Metformin does come with the potential of other side effects which are more serious and less commonly talked about. The longer you use it, the higher the dose, the more likely you will be feeling the effects of some of these side effects. Not only due to the side effects, but due to the fact that it completely ignores the effects of not changing your diet and lifestyle to reduce your insulin.
